Microsoft Vietnam, IDG and CEO&CIO Club have jointly co-operated to hold the conference. Its aim was to provide a chance for information-technology experts and high-profile officers of information-technology of the Government to meet up and look for solutions to help Departments of The Government deal with the rapidly growth of information security threats and follow the new regulation of information security.

The participants included the representatives from Departments of information-technology and the experts in the field. The topic, such as:  Protect the infrastructure of technology of e-Government, Analyze and give solution to the Security pothole in departments of the Government, Security database, Internet Security, Email Security… were discussed at the conference.
